I love Knife and Pestle! I've ordered from them multiple times and the food is consistently delicious and flavourful. I've had multiple Lao boxes and the Poke Box. The Sushi Box is next on my list to try. A+Pictured below: Lao New Year Box (It was amazing!)

Knife and Pestle
Knife and Pestle combines great tasting food with great presentation. Their combination of traditional Laos flavours and Japanese sushi is both unique and perfect on the palate. Expect your food to be served perfect - fried items are hot and crispy, cold pokes are fresh and zesty, salads are crisp and tangy. I will keep coming back to see new innovations they have.

I was really impressed that they carefully placed the items in my trunk so the items wouldn’t shift around when we drove and also that they propped the top of the container open slightly so the friend chicken wouldn't get soggy. We ordered the Lao box and the sushi and everything was amazing. The wasabi was especially delicious.

I had really high hopes for this place after Thompson from Wooden Boat told me to try it, I was NOT disappointed. The sausage, sushi rice and salads were all excellent. The real stand out though was the poke, it was exceptional. I have been craving pure Hawaiian style poke since my honeymoon a few years ago on Maui. This was it, as authentic as it gets, and in the middle of Kitchener! Great stuff

I had high expectations after seeing Knife and Pestle on Instagram and they did not disappoint!! The Collective Box was out of this world! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. Amazing quality, good size serving, and absolutely delicious. 10/10.

Have eaten here twice now, and loved it each time! We tried the Lao and Sushi boxes the first time and a Sushi and Collective box the 2nd time. Each time the food was fresh and filling, also enjoy the different menu each week. Gives us a chance to experience new flavours we wouldn't have known to try before.

Ordered the Sushi Box last night (Friday - prime time for take out). The driveway was busy but the service was on time, friendly and thoughtful. I thoroughly enjoyed the sushi box - I found it to be of excellent quality and value, was thoughtfully curated with eco-friendly packaging and overall so satisfying. I can't wait to try the Poke and Lao box next time. Order early in the week for Friday night takeout as they sell out often.

Soooooo my mind was blown tonight. In no particular order my wife and I favourite cuisines are south-eastern Asian and sushi (and Korean) but this place combines them! Just picked up a box tonight and literally still chewing on it. Pretty amazing!!!!!! Lots of things to try. Really excited this place is 15 minutes from our house. Tip : they sell out quick don’t hesitate and order you won’t be disappointed.
